Getting to know me:

Okay well I've always loved answering questions as well as I can! So I've looked some up which I'm going to answer about myself! Here goes my 9 questions...

  • What was the happiest moment of your life? I've had a lot, but one of them, was last year, when my boyfriends dad turned 50 we all went to a castle for the weekend, I was so happy then. Surrounded my wonderful people x

  • Who has been the biggest influence on your life? What lessons did that person teach you? My boyfriends mum, before she passed away, I seemed to be a different person, she taught me how short life is, without even knowing, my life has changed so much.

  • What are the most important lessons you’ve learned in life? That your looks really are not everything.

  • What are you proudest of? Many things, however this moment in time, my boyfriend, he is amazing!

  • When in life have you felt most alone? 7 years a go, I had a lot of confidance issues about the way I looked.

  • How has your life been different than what you’d imagined? It's not just black and white, and rightly so!

  • How would you like to be remembered? Happy!

  • Do you have any regrets? It sounds silly, But none at all! I try to learn from everything

  • What does your future hold? A lovely home for me and my boyfriend to live in, beautiful  healthy children, marriage and a wonderful career, x

6 whole years:

I'm extremely excited at the moment! And the reason for that is because I start university in 6 days! I'm so excited it's unreal! In 6 years I will hopefully have my BA honours degree in social and behavioural studies.. How crazy does that sound! When I was at school, people called be dumb, because I was always the one asking the questions and holding my hand up all the time, but to me that's a good thing, right? Anyway, boo you people! I'll be doing a degree soon! Honestly I feel like Mike Wazowski on his first day at uni, I've bought a hull university hoody and everything! A little nervous as it's for 6 whole years and I know I will have no life as I always work full time and have lots of family and friends to see, I also volunteer at the soup kitchen for the homeless on a Sunday for 3 hours... Okay I didn't think this through did I?! Well, wish me luck! Maybe see ya in 6 years!
Hell, 6 years is a long time isn't it? So much could be happening in the next 6 years of my life.. First home, dare I say babies and marriage? People coming in and out of my life, my grandmas Alzheimer's progressing which is something that honestly scares me, other peoples engagements, weddings, party's! The list could go on. Well, here's to the next 6 years! X

Sponsored walk for Alzheimer's!

Hey everyone!
Well, I'm back, asking for money again! Terrible aren't I? I appreciate only a few months a go I was asking for sponsors for cancer research when me, Louis and Mason did our 100 mile bike ride! But tomorrow I am taking part in the memory walk, which is an organised walk to raise money for Alzheimer's. Now this is a very special charity for me, one which is extremely close to my heart. My grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimer's a year ago, and since then we have been trying to make the most out of every single day. My grandma will get worse, I know that and understand now. But she is and will always be the same grandma/parent/friend to me she always has been! I will be eternally grateful if you are able to sponsor even just a pound! Here is the link to my justgiving page: thank you so much! X

Powerful photo:

Here is a photo I would like to share, previous to my rant, (below!) I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw this photo. At a first glance, I scrolled by so fast thinking, 'I don't want to see that!' However when I looked a little closer, I saw the picture she holds on her lap, and understood it. This photo is so powerful and so perfectly portrayed. I thought, I have to share this! Don't let this happen, don't let young girls think this is the only way, to be 'thin'. Stop photoshopping I say. X

Photoshopping is more than just a photo in the media:

Okay so this is something I love to talk about, Photoshopping.

We seem to live in a society where we have to look the 'part', we have to be perfect, with perfect teeth, perfect skin, perfect hair, and god forbid we take photos of ourself with an ounce of fat showing! There's nothing wrong with changing our photos, I unserstand how advertising works, you want it to look the best! But why has it got to the point where we are feeling bad about ourselves  because of this? About 7 years a go this effected me, a hell of a lot. In the past few years I have overcome my lack of self confidence, but I know that there are millions of other girls, boys, men and women out there with these issues. And the media have a hell of a lot to do with it!
I've posted two photos above this, one of a gorgeous lady with gorgeous curves, which I for one think look amazing! However they have decided to totally change her image, her legs have been thinned, and her stomach, where has it gone?! Please explain what's wrong with her stomach for someone to feel the need to totally demolish it and create something which is not even real?! This upsets me. Young girls look at the right image and think, great. That's the look I need to look 'perfect'. Which leads to what? Depression, self harm, dieting tablets, eating disorders? How far should we push this?  Young boys, even men may look at that photo and think, hey, that's what all women look like! How amazing is that! They higher their expectations, and when they do come across a genuinely gorgeous lady, who isn't up to society's standerds, they dismiss them because they're not as perfect as all the women in the magazines! What's that all about?!

My second image is as we all know, Harry Styles. Let me just start with this, why have they removed all of his spots? What's wrong with having bad skin, everyone goes through it, especially teenagers. Which by the way I think are at their most vulnerable time in their lives. Do we want them to see the left photo of Harry Styles and think, 'Yuck, I don't want to look like that!' It's natural! Just because the media show only the photoshopped photos of celebrities. Secondly look at the rest of his 'complexion' and features, sorry but, is he a doll? He doesn't even look real!

Please don't get me wrong. I think technology these days is bloody brilliant! And to be able to so these things is amazing, but do we need to take it this far? Do we need to plaster these 'perfect' images all over every type of media out there? It is are effecting so many people, and in so many horrendous ways. I don't think they care though, do they? Very sadly, it's all about the money for these people, and to me, that says more about those people who produce these photoshopped images, than the people in the images. Who are now infact some made up plastic non existent object. Sad isn't it. X

Books, Books, Books!

Okay so I've never been one for reading books, or so I thought! About a year a go it started my collection, my book shelf is growing and growing! I mostly buy books about Angels, and Doreen Virtue has quite an influence on my shelf! She is such a brilliant writer. However today, in Grosmont me, my mum and my grandma, came across a brilliant little book shop, and left with this box full!! I'm so excited to get stuck in!

Happy 11th Birthday Mcfly:

A HUGE HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY IDOLS.
11 years ago today, McFly were born! I am unbelievably proud to call myself a fan, since day one! I remember dancing in my kitchen and making up routines to 'Obviously', I remember going to my first ever McFly concert with my mum! In London, So exciting! I remember the first time I went with my friends, and the most electrifying feeling rushed through my body as they came on stage! I will never forget the ups and downs each one of them have been through, and how strong they have become! I'll never forget the feeling when they performed at the Royal Albert Hall for their 10th year anniversary! I will forever hold the memories from when they sing 'The Heart Never Lies' and the emotions that run through my body when the song begins! And how proud and strong I feel when 'One For The Raido' is on. I am so proud to be a part of that, and for those men to be a part of me. Happy Birthday Boys!X🎈🎉❤️

100 Miles For Cancer Research:

2nd/3rd of August 2014:

I must say I am rather proud of myself, Louis and Mason. These last two days we have completed a 4 marathon bike ride! We have raised around £600 (money has to be counted properly yet!) for Cancer Research! We decided to raise money and do this crazy biking extravaganza in memory of my wonderful boyfriend Louis, and masons mum, 'Mamma Sue'. She is one of the most courageous, brave, beautiful women I have ever in my life known, and because of this lady my life has genuinely changed forever. One day we will beat cancer, every year there are millions and millions of pounds that go into research and they're and continuously looking for a cure! Today is a day closer to that cure and I am so proud to be a part of helping raise for that. We thank every single person who had sponsored us to do this bike ride and we did not let you down! Sore bums, aching bodies and all! 💖🚴🚴🚴🎈🎉🌞

Ed's special place:

So here is my newest purchase.
I can't express how much I love Ed Sheerans voice/songs. When I fell in love with Louis, we were friends, and all I found myself doing was listening to Eds first album, over and over again! His songs make me realise how much I did love him, and every time i hear his voice I can only think about how lucky I am to have Louis. I've only had his new album since last night and already I am in love with it! Although these are his new songs, his voice takes me right back to that moment and I feel more blessed and lucky every single day. So Ed will always, always have a very special place in my heart!xxxxxx

Gorgeous summers night read:

So I've purchased a new book! Called 'Angel Visions'. It's a beautiful book about people who have had encounters with their angels, which is something I truly believe in, so it's a really comforting and peaceful book! I'm now sat in my garden with the sun shining down on me, perfect! If your a spiritual person this book is just lovely and I advise you to buy it! These past few months I have grown to love Doreen Virtue! I have bought her books and Angel Oracle cards, I trust what she says and is such a wonderful writer! So look her up! :) xx

Gorgeous cards with a beautiful message every day:

Here are my beautiful angel cards. These cards help me each and every day, weather you believe in the fact that your angels draw you to a certain card or not. They are a wonderful guide to every day life, and have made me feel so much more peaceful and settled within myself since I've bought them. And I do believe my energy has rubbed off on them and that I am drawn to certain ones each day. If you haven't got a set, I certainly advise everyone and anyone to get some! much love😘 xxxx

My Grannymar:

Here is my wonderful Grandma,
A few months a go she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. She is still in the early stages, and is still the incredible lady that has always had a huge part in bringing me up, and helping me become the person I am today. When we found out she had Alzheimers Disease, I cried, and cried, and cried. All I could think about was my grandma forgetting who I am. And that really upset and scared me! My grandma is not only my grandma. She is my friend, who always offers support and kindness when I need it. I can not describe how much me and my family do not want this disease to get any worse, but we know one day it will. So we spend every single second we can with her in the most positive ways. She loves to entertain! Only a couple of weeks a go me and my boyfriend, Louis, went round. She was so excited, that she made us a cake, (she still remembers the recapie well!) set the table, used the posh plates of course! And made us dinner, I could tell that made her whole week. I don't think anything makes her happier than talking about the past, memories she can remember and relate to, and seeing her beautiful great grandchildren, And watching them grow. Hearing her stories makes me so happy. Sometimes she says things, certain things, which make me and my mum a little worried. Her brains recognition sometimes becomes a little slower, and she only appears to click on to what your actually saying a few moments into the conversation. It's sad, but it makes you realise that you need to spend every moment you can with the people you love, because you really don't get that long to live in this life, and anything can happen, at any moment.
I will always love her for the person she is right now, however much she changes; she'll always be my Grannymar.❤️xxx

MCBUSTED:

So last night, the 4th of May, I got to see my boys again, WITH BUSTED. It was the most wonderful electrifying incredible night EVER EVER! I wish I could go back! Whenever I go to see mcfly, there's always such a big build up! And straight after you always get this really gutting feeling that it's all over!👎 I'm so proud of these 6 men for doing these shows. So many people are moaning and complaining about them because they want mcfly back, and yes I miss them just as mcfly but if they're having so much fun, what's wrong with that! Last night was amazing! xxxx

Unleash your happy on the world:

I used to moan at the little things, each and every day. Some people even find things to complain about, people like that always find the worse out of every situation. You can try and change that persons views on life, but it doesn't always work. So you end up just having to sit back. My whole perspective on life changed just over a year a go. And it feels amazing to appreciate it the way I do now, and love everything about it. Sometimes we forget what's important, and forget how little time we really have. We have all been given this wonderful life for a reason. There's nothing wrong with being happy, it's the most amazing feeling in the world, so put a smile on that beautiful face and embrace the feeling of just being. Then you'll feel happiness, honest. xx

HAPPY EASTER!

Happy Easter everyone!

I hope everyone: religious and none religious have a wonderful day today. I know my grandma will be going to the church today, and will be feeling rather blessed! Some people may not be very religious, like me, however feel comfort in going to the church today. And some people may just be excited for their chocolate! So enjoy your day whatever it may bring! Xxxx
